KettleStone Foods makes shelf-stable canned foods and other packaged foods for retailers, distributors, food banks, and private-label customers. This policy explains what information we collect through kettlestonefoods.com, our emails, and our advertising, and what we do with it. We sell to businesses, so most of what we handle is business contact information.
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on our website, complete a form in one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, email us, call us, or meet us at a trade show, we collect what you provide. That usually means your name, company, job title, work email, phone number, the products or services you are interested in, and anything you write in a message.
Information collected automatically. Our website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects standard usage information such as the pages you view, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location. Some pages also use the Meta Pixel, which collects similar information so we can measure our advertising and show ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited our site. When you submit a form we also record your browser type and the country you appear to be in. Our emails use standard tools that show us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked.
Information from other sources. Like most business-to-business suppliers, we receive business contact information from trade show organizers, industry directories, our sales representatives, and public sources.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
Email. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, or you can ask us to remove you at the address below.
Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Ads. You can manage the ads you see on Facebook and Instagram in your ad preferences on those services.
Your information. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at the address below and we will respond as applicable law requires. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law.
We keep contact information for as long as we have a business reason to, such as an active or potential customer relationship. We delete it on request unless the law requires us to keep it.
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee security.
Our website and advertising are meant for business customers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
